Kiara came to us as a 5-month-old and scared cub, without an iota of trust in humans. No wonder… She was born in a Hungarian circus, from where she and her sister were brought to Slovakia. They lived in unsuitable conditions for a few months. She found support with our poor lion Julek. Now she lives with two males and gets along best with Kevin. The males underwent a vasectomy and Kiara sterilized, so that they do not have to be separated during the heat. Unfortunately, we would have nowhere to place the cubs and it would not be possible to release them into the wild.
