Soraya came to us in poor health. Already during the initial examination, our vet discovered that something was wrong with her leg. To this day, we do not know what exactly happened to her. However, upon further examination, we discovered that Soraya must have suffered some kind of injury because the growth cells in her hip joint had died and part of her leg would never grow back. We would very much like to give her the company of a tiger, but we cannot. Because of her injury, she has to be separated from the other tigers. As a weaker individual, she would be a constant target of attacks by other tigers.
