Leon comes from the circus, where, in addition to unsuitable conditions, he served as an attraction for visitors. He arrived at a time when his baby teeth were changing to adult teeth and three of them never grew. It may be bad genetics, as there are not so many white lions in captivity, and therefore the offspring’s kinship is caused by various degenerations. In addition, white lions in captivity are not born to naturally dark individuals, but to white parents. Leon has a very calm nature and shares his paddock with Kelly and Kimba.
