Kevin was born in captivity by a private person and came to us on Christmas 2016. He was abandoned by a private breeder by a mother lioness who did not nurse him. Not all lionesses take care of their cubs in captivity, as they do not have sufficiently suitable conditions. We named him Kevin because he came into our care before Christmas, when we have several favorite fairy tales and one of them is “Home Alone” :)
Our nurses gave him 24-hour care, he was always the most hungry and still is. Kevin gets along best with the lion Kiara, they have a very similar nature.
