Desert lion

Panthera Leo

Love & Arya

Love and a star

Love is our love. This little lioness got her name to spread love among you animal lovers. Arya – her sister also won our hearts.

They were born in Malkia Park to the lion couple Kamu and Cezar. Unfortunately, their baby sister Rose didn’t live long due to a congenital heart defect that caused her death. When mating with long-term relatives, various diseases come from generation to generation. The solution is castration or controlled reproduction of these individuals. Most of the animals at Malkia Park are spayed, neutered or vasectomy. We also have animals that are under the supervision of breeding coordinators, who know when it is the right time to breed the given animals and where to place the cubs after they become independent.
